Make a Gift

Each gift to St. Croix Catholic School helps us form scholars, disciples, and servant leaders.

Gift opportunities

We awarded over $430,000 in support of need-based tuition assistance. This positively impacted 119 children for the last school year. Our annual appeal, Light Their Way, is an incredible night to raise funds to support the next year of tuition needs. Business and donor sponsorships are available at various levels!

Enables our ability to support families saying “yes” to SCCS for generations to come. This fund makes annual distributions. This year, we distributed about $106,000 to support tuition.

See the incredible impact made by two brothers, Mr. Jean DeCurtins and Mr. John DeCurtins. Gifts to the endowment allow our ability to drive a sustainable future in perpetuity. We’re grateful for any gift of any size to continue to build on our SCCS legacy.

Additional ways to give

Help SCCS establish a long-term faculty pilgrimage program that provides our teachers with the opportunity to experience a pilgrimage every three years. These experiences allow our faculty to deepen their faith, strengthen community, and continue growing as scholars, disciples, and servant leaders—bringing that formation back to our students and the entire SCCS community. Our next pilgrimage is being considered for June 2028, with Poland as a possible destination! Please consider investing in their spiritual formation by making a gift through our giving form. Your generosity helps make this meaningful experience possible for our SCCS educators.

Use the donate form and mark your memorial intentions within it to process a gift in memory of a loved one. Unless otherwise specified, all gifts will go to the SCCS Operating Endowment. St. Croix Catholic School will notify the family when gifts are received. Thank you, and we are praying for you!

In honor of SCCS providing 170 years of Catholic education in the valley, we will have a Give to the Max Day from November 16–22. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook!

A SCCS alumnus, Zach Sobiech was a teenager and singer-songwriter from Stillwater, Minnesota. During his battle with cancer, he wrote the song “Clouds,” which broke records shortly after Zach passed away on May 20, 2013. His parents created a fund in his honor to support the SCCS music and arts program.

In 2013, upon leaving for his new assignment as Bishop of the Diocese of New Ulm, beloved Father John LeVoir challenged the community to grow our endowment fund to the $1 million mark.

As a lasting expression of gratitude, donors who helped advance this goal were recognized with a customizable paver—creating visible recognition of the individuals and families whose generosity helped build the future of Catholic education at St. Croix Catholic School.

Today, we’re honored to continue this tradition as we strive to grow our endowments to $6 million—$1 million dedicated to our Tuition Endowment and $5 million to strengthen our Operating Endowment which supports teacher salaries, educational resources, and facility improvements. Significant endowment gifts of $10,000 or more will be recognized with a customizable paver in our Bishop LeVoir Legacy Garden. Each paver celebrates a transformational gift and leaves a lasting mark on SCCS for generations to come.

  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs): if you are 70½ or older, a QCD allows you to give directly from an IRA to SCCS. It can be a tax-smart way to support Catholic education.
  • Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs): a DAF allows you to recommend charitable gifts to SCCS from a fund you have already established, making it a simple and flexible way to give.
  • Charitable gift annuities: a charitable gift annuity allows you to make a gift to SCCS while receiving fixed payments for life. It can provide both charitable impact and potential financial benefits.
  • Appreciated stock: gifting appreciated securities can allow you to support SCCS while potentially avoiding capital gains tax on the appreciation. Your gift can make a lasting impact on Catholic education.
