At St. Croix Catholic School, the spiritual formation of each child and their relationship with Jesus Christ are at the heart of our mission. Students are invited into deeper communion with Christ and His Church through prayer, the Sacraments, Catholic teaching, and the daily life of our school community.
Mass and the Sacraments
Students gather each week for Mass, growing in their understanding of the liturgy and their love for Jesus in the Eucharist. In Second Grade, students prepare for and receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. In Eighth Grade, students continue preparation and receive Confirmation. Throughout the year, students have regular opportunities for reconciliation.
Prayer and the life of the school
Prayer is part of the daily life of St. Croix Catholic School. Students pray throughout the school day and spend time each month in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The seasons of the Church year are lived and celebrated together through Advent and Lent, Stations of the Cross, May Crowning, Faith Rally, traditional Catholic devotions, and other opportunities for prayer and worship.
