SCCS Knights performed well at the Regional Lego League Tournament last Saturday: successful robotic missions, sound presentations, and hands-on experience solving engineering challenges. And - best of all - our St. Croix Catholic Knights were awarded the "Team Spirit" award!
The award is given out by the judges to a single team in each division for any number of reasons that they notice throughout the day, and it was presented to the SCCS Knights this year for kindness to others, sportsmanship, and professionalism. Coach Brian York shares, "I think we can all agree that these are areas that we strive for at SCCS, so a public award for our team recognizing their achievements was a really proud moment for us. The coaches are not allowed to interact (or even be in the "playing field") so this award was 100% the result of the students acting on their own." WOW! Way to go, boys. We are incredibly proud of you!!
