Golf Tournament – Big Success – 15th Year in a Row!
Thank you to all who participated in the Endowment Fund Golf Tournament and Dinner on August 17, 2013. We had 93 golfers and several more who joined us for Happy Hour and Dinner. A huge thank you to our hole sponsors and auction donors – please pass on our appreciation to these generous businesses and families. Several unique packages were auction off, including Dodgeball with the Guys. Mr. Slaikeu and Mr. Kolnik recently took on Rob Garofalo and gang. Other than a few sore arms, fun was had by all.
Several other packages were also auctioned off, including: Dodgeball for the Little Guys, Pizza with the Principal, Gourmet Dinner prepared by Sister Mary Caroline, Principal for a Day, Student for a Day (Father Lynch!), Phy Ed Teacher for a Day, Advent and Lenten group service projects by Ms. Malovrh, front row seats for Advent concert, incredible classroom art projects, and much more. A net $21,000 was raised in support of the Endowment Fund. Thank you to the lead volunteers: Erin Lisle, Jackie Garofalo, Jill Whisler, and Amy Dinzeo. This summer, the school’s Endowment Fund reached the $1 million mark.
