Earlier in the year, we shared how we would be building on last year’s work of differentiated instruction. Thanks to the assistance of Dr. James Wold and some professional development in the area of using data to make instructional decisions, gears are turning and plans are being executed!
The Resource Support Team is assisting teachers, K-6, in implementing differentiated instruction through flexible, fluid groups. When the Resource Support Team arrives, typically daily, students are broken up into groups of 5 to 8 to work on specific skills or topics. At most grade levels, the focus is in the area of mathematics.
