End of the Year Send-Off & Graduation Parade, May 29th

Before our End of the Year Send-Off (with materials drop-off/pick-up), all Preschool through 7th Grade families are invited to our 8th Grade Graduation Parade. Our soon-to-be graduates will line up along 3rd Street forming a parade of cars while SCCS families line the parade route from SCCS/St. Michael’s to St. Mary’s.

What do you need to do?
  1. RSVP by completing this form: https://forms.gle/qEyarVPEL57LTC8A6 , DUE Friday, May 20th. A member from Home and School will be in touch with you with your family’s location along the parade route.
  2. Have your children make a congratulatory sign/poster to wave during the parade.
  3. Dig out any pom-poms, streamers, kazoos, etc. that you might have at home.
  4. Arrive at your family’s designated location along the parade route by 2:45 (this information will be sent to you by one of our Home & School Reps)
  5. THE GRADUATION PARADE WILL START AT 3PM!

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE GRADUATION PARADE, FAMILIES SHOULD RETURN TO THEIR VEHICLES AND FORM A LINE IN THE ST. MICHAEL’S/SCCS PARKING LOT for our End of the Year Send-off with Materials Drop-off/Pick-up. Faculty and Staff look forward to seeing all of our families before Summer Break begins! Any families not attending the parade should plan to arrive in the back parking lot between 3:30 and 4:00. Parents of preschoolers, stay tuned for a special communication from Miss Jean regarding directives for preschoolers after the Graduation Parade.

*NOTE: SCCS will be following the current CDC and state guidelines during our celebrations, with plans to make adjustments, as needed, as days get closer. Additionally, homeroom teachers will be in touch with families with details regarding specific materials/items which will need to be returned to school on this day.
